In the MT4 desktop, the message "Waiting for update" may appear even though you are logged in.
In this case, it means that the data of the currency pair specified in the chart is not available on MT4.
If you have multiple accounts, it is possible that the error is caused by switching accounts, as different account plans have different currency pair names. In this case, specifying the currency pair will resolve the issue.
It is also possible that the data is not being loaded correctly, so please check the following.
- Click on the quote display window
- Select the currency pair you wish to view
- Drag the selected currency pair to the Waiting for Update window
