Why a VPS is not required
Copying is handled on our side. Once you follow a Master Trader from the Social Trade ranking page, every order the Master Trader places is copied to your account automatically, so your PC, smartphone or MT4 terminal does not have to stay online for the copy to be executed.
What you should prepare instead
Rather than a VPS, what matters is that the following account has enough free margin at the moment a trade is copied:
- Copy trading is available on the Standard plan, where the minimum trade size is 0.01 lot.
- A margin call is issued at a margin level of 80%, and a stop out is executed at 50%.
- If the free margin is insufficient when the Master Trader opens a position, the copy will simply fail, so please keep a comfortable margin buffer.
